NEMO Lab

Our project of telemedicine Smart Health Innovation Lab, developed in partnership with the spin-off of the Salerno University @RiAtlas, the Institute for Polymers, Composites, and Biomaterials (IPCB) of Lecco CNR and the department of Design of Politecnico di Milano, is one of the 8 ideas selected for the ZCube acceleration program:

• Coming from Italy and the world, the 8 startups will begin their full-time acceleration path in Digital Health from 29 October

• For the fourth edition of the program, two interactive insights have also been included: the first on fundraising and the second on opportunities for collaboration with insurance companies for digital health startups

• The Call for Solution 2020 will end in December with the assignment of loans of € 100,000 each for the most promising realities (up to a maximum of 3)

“The launch of Open Accelerator is a glimpse into the future that we always need, but never as today the great challenges that await the world of health and the sustainability of the system, as well as the important role that startups can play, are like this evident – comments Elena Zambon, President of the pharmaceutical company of the same name and creator of the acceleration program – We are increasingly convinced that our responsibility is also to promote valuable entrepreneurship, trying to anticipate the future ”.

“The impact of the pandemic has shown that only by preparing ourselves is it possible to manage the unexpected. This is why working on innovation processes, “institutionalizing them” and making them a constant part of our society becomes fundamental. We are proud of the proposals arrived this year and we can’t wait to reward the technologically innovative ideas that will also have a clear impact in terms of progress and improvement of the quality of life of citizens “- declared Fabrizio Conicella, General Manager and Board Member by OpenZone and Zcube.
